I'm pleasantly surprised. Given the close proximity to the Carnegie system in Pittsburgh I wasn't sure what to expect. However, in little Monongahela this is a gem of a library. It's newer as libraries go and they've got a lot of selection in a small space. Better still they participate with Washington County Library System so any book in the system can be shipped here. They're also in the 21st century and offer e books and other online tools and resources.
It's a pretty nice spot during the school year to read. They do not have a very wide selection to choose from, but they do provide the required reading books for the local high schools. Some of the workers were kind of rude and allowed screaming kids to run around, but its a really nice place despite that.
